🔹About the project

You will join a team of QA Engineers for our Dutch client – digital banking service company BackBase. The client planned a lot of new functionality and they are very excited about testing it from top to bottom!

We focus on best practices within the quality, test automation, and CI spaces, and work to ensure the organization is always running smoothly. These practices include metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies and other quality measures.

🔹Meet you Team!

Our team consists of a mix of several Frontent, Backend Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps engineers, and a Delivery Project Manager and a Product Owner, and a Scrum Master - we use Scrum as a framework for project management.

🔹Who are we looking for?

• You have 1 year+ of proven experience in a QA Engineer role;
  
• You are experienced in JavaScript ES6 and Selenium WebdriverJS;
• You understand testing principles and STLC;
• You're familiar with CI/CD principles, Git flow, Jenkins.

It would be a good plus if you have some experience with Playwright and Rest API testing.

Your English should be at least intermediate for you to feel comfortable during the meetings with your colleagues from Amsterdam.

🔹Your position in the organization 

This position will be a part of one of our Testing departments and your department manager would be one of our Senior Test Developers who would be there to guide you and support your career development.

🔹What you will be doing?

• Defining, creating, and executing comprehensive and well-structured test cases using the standard software testing methodologies in order to ensure the highest software quality;
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities during the development process;
• Designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using defined approach and test automation tools;
• Identifying problems and recommending corresponding solutions applying innovative thinking and analytical skills.
